Activated carbon – highly effective odour binding and absorption. Activated carbon is a highly porous carbon substance with an enormous surface area. Due to the physical chemistry of activated carbon, odour substances are firmly bound to the carbon molecules, thus prevents odours in the long term. Our 3-in-1 formula: Biokat’s Classic extra consists of three different granule sizes. Our large sized granules have a particularly large surface area. This absorbs liquid and odours in a similar way to a sponge. Our medium sized granules form especially strong clumps. Our small granules increase the yield.
